The Tale of #TeamGwynn

Long ago, when I was a young whipper snapper with a head full of hair....nature called. To tell this story properly, I’ll take you back to the beginning.

I had just started my career in tattooing and had 5000 lion’s with crowns under my belt. I was bursting with creativity and wondering where all the awesome people were!! Would I ever tattoo more than a lion and a pocket watch?!? ….My faith in the craft had started to waiver….

But this one, sunny day, I entered a studio bathroom covered in graffiti. Trying to avoid glancing at the floor or what I might be standing in…I glanced at the wall…and there it was!! Written amongst the colourful scribble were the words “TEAM GWYNN”. I didn’t realise at the time, but that those words were a pivotal moment in my career…kind of like when Ron Burgundy jumped in to the bear enclosure.

I decided to embrace colour! To make my art, my own and to use #teamgwynn in all of my posts. To the legendary stranger who scribbled these words on a toilet wall, I thank you. You sir are the combination of Picasso and Jesus.
